Guests often highlight the Yotel Edinburgh's modern and clean rooms, equipped with useful features like a fridge, safe, iron and ironing board, and a TV with many channels. The central location receives consistent praise, placing guests within walking distance of sightseeing attractions and a variety of restaurants and bars. the staff at the reception desk were helpful.
the room lacked a window. i also found the beds too small and the mattresses uncomfortably hard. when i asked about room cleaning, i learned it's only done upon request, which wasn't clearly communicated during check-in.

a decent experience

rainfall showerled lightssmall toiletglass panel
the location were great for my needs. it were also clean. i liked the rainfall shower and also the led lights behind the tv. i appreciated that i could cast content to the tv from my devices.
i found the toilet room was very small. the door to the toilet were difficult to lock, it being a glass panel on hinges. the lighting were essentially all on or nothing. there were no door separating the bathroom and bedroom, this made it hard for my partner to sleep.

good water pressurecomfortable bedsunhelpful staffloud music
The location was convenient and not in the very center. The shower had good water pressure. The room also featured comfortable twin beds not pushed together, which I liked.
The check-in staff member was unhelpful. I received my key card and room number without any information. It seemed as if she did not want to be there, also, music from the lounge was loud. It continued until midnight. I was on the fourth floor and could hear the songs.

nice loungegreat location
Check in happened at one of their computers. The hotel is in a great location in New Town. I did not check out every facility however there was a nice lounge area for relaxation with coffee. There was also a bar that opened later.
The room lacked lots of amenities despite cleanliness. It was very basic.
